I used a paint palette for these cat eyes which was easy to put on but did not stay on throughout the day. My skin is very dry and has a lack of oil in it so it caused my makeup to look dry and ew. /:

I got a new pink lipstick from H&M for $2.95 and it isn’t half bad I just need to get my lips soft throughout the day because it doesn’t stay on all day. Also I am going to try to give a lip stain a try so that I can have pretty lips all day. We will see where make up on me goes. I have done my eye brows pretty well but I do need to go and get them shaped.

Sometimes simple is the way to go. Today being in Polka dot denim and a simple shirt made everyone think that something was wrong with me, when in reality I was just physically exhausted today, which is normal for a person who works 16 hours days 5 out of 7 days.

So lately I have been trying to get use to the idea of wearing make up. I definitely need to do some research on it so I learn how to keep my foundation on during the day. I am constantly touching my face just as a bad habit but I am trying to stop.

I have been washing my face every night before bed along with putting moisturizer on it at night and when I wake up to ensure that my face doesn’t get too dried out.

I have almost perfected the cat eye with little tricks I have made for myself (: I now need to find a good lipstick that stays on during the day/a good lip gloss too add on top. And I need to put my foundation on a little better.

If anyone knows any good tips on keeping your make up on your face throughout the day and also a good lipstick brand for pink and natural colours I would love to know!

BTW this is an intense make up look for me. i usually do a natural smokey eye.

Scattered brained

I’m happy, don’t get me wrong, I’m fan-fucking-tastic but I’m drained. My body feels like a storm cloud, so dark and so slow.
Working two jobs and trying to have a nearly normal social life feels impossible sometimes. Never having a day off because my days off are at the other job.
Boys are coming and going and I hate to say it but having someone would probably just make everything even harder because I’m not the best person to give attention.
I feel like I’m literally stuck between after college and adult hood. One job is super high stress and dealing with way too many personalities that really shouldn’t be at that kind of job. The other is full of creative people and people who get how my cogs work. One job is a well oiled machine the other a hunk of junk. One job I love, one job I use to love. One job. To be honest only one is worth the stress, the no eating, the no sleeping, the drinks, the laughter and the sense of accomplishment.
I’m just too much in love with working. I may have to give something up. I may have to starter thing my heart work more than my brain.
This is something for me, but you can read it.

So my friend Adam from work treated myself, Sophie and Ryan to a nice lunch at this Mexican place in the neighbourhood of the office. We had excellent margaritas and delicious food. I would highly recommend this place to get some good Mexican food, not authentic, but good.

Had to call out of my other job because the other one needed me more. Sometimes it is so hard to juggle two jobs, have a social life, sleep and play.
Today there is a rooftop party at work and I’m excited to mingle with more people and become more known.

I almost wrote February for the month for this photo. Obviously my head is now screwed on tight enough for me to think straightly. I was working all day on Pampers iMedia ads and image sourcing and my eyes I think rolled under my desk which is why I’m confused on how they made it in a photograph. Welp. Now I sleep and repeat.

Today my H&M vacation was over. I didn’t miss it one bit. I use to love working there so much then all of a sudden I just stopped caring fully. I am a hard worker so I couldn’t just stop all together but going above and beyond I have stopped. With working another job makes it hard to do as well. Today I wore flowers I’m my hair because well it was a beautiful day out.
